BRIEF BIO

I am a professor of Mathematics at the Department of Mathematics, Universidad del Valle. My research is focused on the following areas: Dispersive Partial Differential Equations, Numerical Analysis, Applied Mathematics, Fluid Mechanics, Applied Functional Analysis, and recently, I am also interested in inverse problems associated to coefficient identification of dispersive equations and solitary wave solutions. I am director of the research group “Ecuaciones Diferenciales Dispersivas y Teoría de Control EDD-TC” (Dispersive differential equations and control Theory) classified by MinCiencias in category A.
